Slots FAQ
Are online slots rigged?
Licensed platforms use independently audited RNG software with certified RTP figures. Unlicensed platforms have no such requirement — which is why checking licensing matters more than any "strategy."
What does RTP mean?
Return to Player — the statistical average percentage paid back to players over the long run, across all players, not a guarantee for your session. See our slots guide for a full explanation.
Is there a strategy to win at slots?
No strategy overcomes a slot's built-in house edge. Bankroll management affects how long your money lasts, not your odds on any individual spin.
What's the difference between low and high volatility slots?
Low volatility pays smaller wins more often; high volatility pays larger wins less often. Neither has better long-run odds — it's a playstyle preference.
What is a wagering requirement on a slot bonus?
The number of times you must bet the bonus (sometimes the bonus plus deposit) before you can withdraw it. ₱1,000 at 30x means ₱30,000 in bets first. Our wagering guide works through real peso examples.
Do progressive jackpot slots pay less the rest of the time?
Usually yes. Part of every bet feeds the jackpot, so the base game’s return is lower than on a comparable non-progressive slot. See progressive jackpots explained for realistic odds.
Is a slot “due” to pay after a long dry spell?
No. Every spin is decided independently by the random number generator, so past results do not change the next one. That belief is the gambler’s fallacy, and we explain how slot RNGs work separately.
Can I see a slot’s RTP before I play?
Most reputable studios publish it in the game’s information or paytable screen. Some games ship in several RTP versions, so the figure on the casino you use is the one that matters. Compare it with volatility in our RTP vs volatility guide.
Are slots better odds than table games?
Generally not. Typical slot RTPs sit around 94–97%, while blackjack with basic strategy and the banker bet in baccarat return closer to 99%. The full comparison is in table games vs slots.
