PHBetGuide helps Filipino players find online betting and casino platforms that are properly licensed and regulated — instead of guessing based on a badge image or a marketing claim. We started this site after seeing how many gambling-related websites make licensing claims that can't actually be checked, and set out to build one that shows its work instead.
Our Review Methodology
Every operator we feature goes through the same process before publication:
- License verification: we check the operator's name and brand directly against PAGCOR's official Accredited Gaming System Administrators list and Registered Domains list — both public documents anyone can check.
- Domain matching: we only link to an operator's official registered domain, confirmed against that same list — never a redirector or a lookalike mirror domain.
- Independent corroboration: we cross-check operator claims (safety, payment speed, game selection) against independent third-party sources like Trustpilot and Casino.Guru, rather than relying on what the operator says about itself.
- Documented complaints: our reviews include real, sourced user complaints alongside the positives — a review with only pros isn't a review, it's an ad.
- Periodic re-verification: licensing status, payment methods, and bonus terms can change. Each review shows a "last verified" date, and we recheck it periodically rather than publishing once and leaving it stale.
Why Licensing Matters
Online gambling in the Philippines is regulated by PAGCOR, and under current law (Republic Act 12312, 2025), offshore operators without proper local licensing are prohibited from serving Philippine residents. A platform without a real, checkable PAGCOR license has no independent oversight of game fairness, no regulator to complain to if something goes wrong, and no accountability for how it handles player funds. We treat licensing as the single most important thing to check before anything else — game selection, bonuses, or design.

- We don't accept payment in exchange for a positive review.
- We list operators we haven't yet formed a commission relationship with just the same as ones we have, using their plain official link instead of a tracked one.
- We don't use spam-flagged SEO markup (like FAQPage schema on commercial content) just to game search results.
